A clinical psychologist

Originally from the Netherlands, my journey has taken me across Africa and the Middle East, where I have spent most of my life living and working.

I hold Master's Degrees in Clinical and Cross-Cultural Psychology and Humanitarian Assistance, and I communicate fluently in Dutch, English, and French.

My specialist focus is trauma care, recovery, and resilience; walking alongside people as they navigate the aftermath of overwhelming experiences, particularly within the international work field.

Over the years, I have worked with people of all ages across a wide range of challenges, from depression, anxiety, panic, anger, stress, low self-esteem, and alcohol concerns to relationship difficulties, parenting, and more severe or enduring mental health conditions.

My clinical toolkit includes training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Psychological First Aid (PFA), complemented by expertise in psychological health assessments, clearances, and resilience briefings.
